It was 1979 in Omaha when Dallen Peterson brought his family together to create Merry Maids, a cleaning company franchise. It started offering professional-level cleaning to homes but soon diversified into commercial companies. 

Merry Maids then created brands, including AmeriSpec, Furniture Medic, ServiceMasterClean, and ServiceMasterRestore.

Now, Merry Maid services have spread across 485 locations across America, and now, it retains its position as one of the world’s leading cleaning service providers.
